RoryBoy and Besotted Mummy are taking part in the Walk for Our Old Friends with Dogs Trust this October!
In memory of sweet Princess Polly Sausage Pie we're helping raise money for dogs in need by holding our own sponsored walk as part of the Walk for Our Old Friends. It's a month-long challenge throughout October which was Polly's birthday month.
Baby Rory never met his big sister but we talk about her. He knows he'd have LOVED to wrestle her to the ground and play all day. He also knows that she was extremely Mummy-centric so the jealousy would be off-the-scale 🤣 Would they have got along? Eventually!! 🤣
The opportunity to remember our old furry friends is really important to me because I absolutely adored Polly and it would be wonderful to incorporate Rory in a walk in her memory.
We'll be gathering with other like-minded people to remember, reflect, and celebrate our old friends.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
