What is WOOF?

Losing a beloved person or canine companion can be an incredibly emotional journey and we want to help everyone celebrate these important connections and the lasting impact they have.

Whether you are joining us at Salcey Forest or organising your own walk, share your stories and memories with others, because the companions we lose, whether two of four-legged, we will always carry with us.

How the event works

1. Choose your walk location

Salcey Forest:
A 3.5km walk featuring moments of pause, remembrance, and celebration in memory of a beloved dog or dog lover.

Choose your own location:
If you are unable to attend the event in Salcey, you can go on the same journey, by organising your own walk.

2. Start fundraising in memory

This walk will not only be a special time to remember the one you have loved and lost, but also a chance to raise vital funds in their memory, helping dogs that need us now, and in the future.

When you sign up, a fundraising page will be set up for you automatically, so you'll be able to start fundraising for Dogs Trust right away.

We're so grateful for your support and we know the dogs are too!

3. Upload your photo

Salcey Forest:

Upload a picture and name of the person or dog you are walking for to the gallery section of your fundraising page. Your photo will be featured along the walk, for you to take a moment to pause and cherish all those memories you spent together.

Your own walk:
Upload an image to our Memory Wall, a place to read others' stories and share your own.
