Walk for our old Friends

Bonnie, her Mummy and Daddy are walking in honour of Jenna, Hollie and Lola our Airebear angels with Dogs Trust this October!

I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by joining the Walk for Our Old Friends with Dogs Trust. On 6th October, I will be gathering with other like-minded people to remember, reflect, and celebrate our old friends, whilst taking part in a 3.5km walk around Salcey Forest.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with support like yours, if you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be extremely grateful – and so would the dogs!

Thank you.

My Updates

Remembering our Airebears

Sunday 22nd Sep
Jenna - gotcha day July 1996 - left us Dec 2010 3 months shy of 15 - she was our world even though she ate two kitchen tables and half the kitchen - always my shadow
Hollie - gotcha day Feb 2011 - left is Apr 2024 13 and a third - almost blind and doddery but loyal to the end - my shadow.
Lola - picked at a few weeks, gotcha June 2014 - left us suddenly June 2023 - far too soon. She was our eardale and forever puppy who loved to be outside.
Bonnie our newest member will be walking with her Mummy and Daddy in honour of her sisters who have crossed the rainbow bridge - but due to their individual personalities and place in our hearts and our empty home was rehomed and saved us from grief
