I’m taking part in the Walk for Our Old Friends with Dogs Trust this October in honour of our beloved Kyla!
I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by holding my own sponsored walk as part of the Walk for Our Old Friends, in honour of our beloved family pet Kyla who passed away peacefully on the 9th April 2024, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Kyla was living at Dogs Trust as a puppy in 2008. We were lucky enough to be able to home her and never looked back. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog - she brought something so special to the family and since her passing, it has left an empty hole that will never be filled. She was such a character, always smiling away and just loving life - she truly was the missing piece to our puzzle. We couldn’t thank Dogs Trust enough for blessing us with Kyla in 2008 and are so grateful to have had her for a fulfilling 15 and a half years! We miss her dearly and hope she is eating all the treats she can up there, and finally resting at peace!
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with support like yours, if you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be extremely grateful – and so would the dogs!
Thank you.
