Remembering Dex in the best way we know how.

This October, we're taking part in the Walk for Our Old Friends (WOOF) fundraiser for Dogs Trust. It raises money for a good cause, but perhaps more importantly, it gives us a chance to remember, reflect, and celebrate our old friends.  

To celebrate the life of Dex, it felt right to help dogs less fortunate than he was to find a forever home. We'll walk 12 miles - one for each year of his life - along Kielder Forest Drive.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners.

In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). 

With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs in 2024 and beyond as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
