I am overjoyed to be part of @dogstrust London Marathon team 2025 🏃‍♀️

We rehomed our beloved dog Wilma from @dogstrust_basildon and ever since the moment I signed the paperwork to become her mama, I've hoped to give back and try to help as many more dogs as we can. Together, we can help @dogstrust to help so many more of our 'best friends' to be supported, and to find their forever homes 🐾

Sunshine Yellow

Wilma has brought sunshine to our family. Now it is my turn to give some back. The above is my one sentence of why I choose to give my ballot place for @londonmarathon 2025 to @dogstrust I am overjoyed to have a place. I am proud to help raise funds. I am determined to help raise as much awareness as I can about this important charity. I will be running in April for all the animal lovers, for the dog lovers, for the dogs who have found their forever home, for the dogs who are waiting for theirs, for the dogs that have lost their former family, for the families and individuals that have had to give up their doggie. I see you all. I send you so much love. I'll be running for the Wilmas of this world. The bewildered. The hurt. The lonely. The sad. The lost. The anxious. The depressed. For the abandoned. For the dogs that are scared of the dark, for good reason. I run for you. I will be digging so deep, knowing what our Wilma must have gone through in her past. I will dig deeper and use all my reserves knowing how every step I can make, in my bright sunshine yellow Dogs Trust running top will help more people see the magic that this charity does. The yellow of hope. The yellow of forever home. The yellow of trust. The yellow of old yeller. With the right dog & the right human/s supported by the expert guidance from the Dogs Trust teams, real magic happens. Let's help more families experience the absolute life-changing love that rehoming can bring.
