My target 99 kms

I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this January/February!

I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of January to February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners.

Any donations are welcome from £1 to £100! Sponsors will be kept up to date with all fitness activity including distance, time and steps travelled. We will include photos and videos so you can join our journey with us and sponsors will also receive a special thank you for contributing.

Join our adventures and help us raise £99 for canines this month!

My Updates

Pushing it for time!

As the days go on I realise I should probably start adding her leisurely walks too!

Exploring Stonehaven!

Exploring Stonehaven today to Dunnottar castle, Dunnottar woods and the shell house! Lovely peaceful walk and another 10k down!

Mount Keen

Probably my favourite walk to date

Leisurly walk

University makes it harder to get out and about for hiking but another 4km done today! A leisurely walk around my area, location not disclosed for privacy reasons

Another 8km down!

My original plan was to go to Skye and go up one of the Monro's but my car had other plans as it doesn't like to drive in the snow, so we ended up on a random walk in the middle of nowhere but got another 8.78km totaling to 15.81km!

Our first hike up one of the Monros!

Yoki and I set off for our first hike which totaled to 7.03km, my dumb ass thought it'd be clever to just go straight up the mountain rather than following the trail which lead to blood, sweat and tears (literally). We hiked up Creag Leacach which isn't the original mountain I wanted to climb but it's still an achievement as this one is 987m. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, it's truly appreciated and your kindness hasn't gone unnoticed!

Start of the journey!

Our adventure will start on the 18th of January where Yoki and I will walk Beinn Teallach which is
915m, one of the smallest mountains of Scotland's monro challenges.

The challenge includes 282 mountain peaks starting at Beinn Teallach (915m) and finishing with Ben Nevis (1345m)! Although it is unlikely I will be able to complete all peaks in February, I aim to achieve as many as possible and most certainly over 62 miles walking distance (99k) for the dog trust charities.
