I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!
I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

Rufus
Rufus is my beautiful caramel latte cockapoo and is truly the heart of our home. He’s the most energetic and lively member of my family, and I adore him for it. Whether he’s barking with excitement because he’s eager to play, zooming around the house with boundless energy, or curling up against my chest for a cosy afternoon nap, he fills every moment with unconditional joy. There’s something so grounding about his presence—he has a way of reminding me that life doesn’t always have to be complicated. In his world, happiness is a mental run of zoomies in the living room and a human bed to sleep on. Rufus brightens my days in ways I didn’t know I needed, and I couldn’t imagine life without him.
