I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

We did it!! 🥳

After 28 days, 142,427 steps and 1,352 minutes we have finally reached our target distance with a total of 100.8km completed!! 🥳

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and donated throughout this challenge. We managed to raise a total of £126 and your kind donations will be able to help so many dogs in need! 💛🐾🖤

I also wanted to say a special thank you to my amazing mum who has been completing this challenge with me, and she even walked the dogs for me whilst I was away so both Bella and Nifty were able to reach the 99k target too! 😁

We look forward to doing more challenges like this again in the future but for now some much needed rest!! 😴

We got a good few km done exploring the city of Amsterdam today! 

Just 3.4km left, so close!!

Final week 😊

84km completed and two very tired doggos! 💤

Just under a week left to complete our final 15km.

We are over halfway our target distance with 53km completed! And our total raised is now up to £126 🤩🤩

Nifty is resting up ready to complete our final 46km 💤

UPDATE - Week One 💛🖤

Yesterday marked the first full week of the challenge done! Luckily we had been blessed with dry weather and managed to complete a total of 29.3km! We are now into the 60s and have 69.7km left to go!

UPDATE - First weekend of 99k challenge

For our first weekend we have managed to complete a total of 10.4km 🐾🚶‍♀️

This weekend the challenge starts! 💛🐾🖤

This weekend we start our 99k challenge for dogs trust! As you can see Nifty is having a lot of naps in preparation 😴
