I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

This February, Bailey and I are embarking on a heartfelt journey by taking part in the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! Together, we’ll walk 99km to raise funds for the amazing organization that gave Bailey a second chance at life! 

Bailey’s story is proof of the incredible work Dogs Trust does every day. In 2024, she found herself abandoned as a stray and  picked up by a council kennel, on the countdown to euthanasia. Thankfully, Dogs Trust stepped in, providing her with the care and support she desperately needed. Bailey faced multiple health challenges, but thanks to their team she received the care she needed including an operation and specialist scans as well as behavioural support to rebuild her confidence. 

The compassionate team at Dogs Trust worked patiently with her, helping her build confidence and feel safe and it’s thanks to them that we have our loving girl who brings us so much joy every day. 

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme). As the cost-of-living crisis continues to impact families and pets, Dogs Trust's work is more vital than ever. With your help, we can ensure more dogs like Bailey get the care and love they need to start a brighter chapter.
