I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!
I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

Day 1 of my 99km walk for @DogsTrust! 🐶💙
Started the morning early with a peaceful walk at Burrow Mump alongside my old timer dog. We spotted sheep, a buzzard, and even swans—such a beautiful, quiet place to kick off this journey. The views from the top were absolutely stunning! 🌳✨
I ended up doing 10km and clocked up 13,000 steps—feeling accomplished already! Can't wait for day two.
Walking for a Cause: My 99km Challenge for Dog’s Trust
Dogs have always been a part of my life since I was a little girl.
That is why Dog’s Trust has always held a special place in my heart.
Over the years, I’ve supported them through donations, but now, I’m taking my support to the next level.
I’ve decided to combine my love for walking and my passion for dogs by participating in the 99km charity walk organised by Dog’s Trust.
Over the course of a month, I’ll be walking 99 kilometers to raise funds for this incredible charity that works tirelessly to ensure every dog finds a loving home.
Why 99 kilometers? It’s the perfect way to challenge myself while celebrating something I absolutely love—spending time outdoors and walking with my dogs
