Pawesome Memories are taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

Pawesome Memories is kicking off the year 2025 by proudly taking part in the 99km for Canines challenge with Dogs Trust this February.

This exciting initiative allows Pawesome Memories to raise funds and awareness for a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of dogs in need.

Dogs Trust’s mission is clear: to ensure that every dog has a happy life, free from the risk of being abandoned or mistreated. Their commitment to rehoming dogs, promoting responsible pet ownership, and providing expert care makes them a vital part of the animal welfare community. 

By participating in the 99km challenge, Pawesome Memories is helping to further the charity’s mission and bring attention to the importance of supporting homeless dogs across the UK. This challenge is a fantastic way to start the year, combining fitness, fun, and philanthropy for a cause that makes a real difference.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). 

With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

A Huge Thank You for Helping Us Exceed Our Target!

We have some exciting news to share – thanks to the incredible generosity of our first donation, Pawesome Memories has already surpassed our original fundraising target for the 99k for Canines challenge! 

When we first set our goal at £99, we hoped to raise enough to support Dogs Trust in their mission to give every dog a happy, safe life. But thanks to the amazing support from our community, we've already exceeded that target – and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

To celebrate this wonderful milestone, we’ve decided to increase our fundraising goal to £999! We’re more determined than ever to continue raising funds and awareness for Dogs Trust, and we know that with your continued support, we can achieve even more for the dogs who need it most.

The first donation was just the beginning – it truly showed us how powerful our community can be when we come together for a cause we believe in. Every pound raised goes directly to Dogs Trust, helping them rehome abandoned dogs, provide expert care, and ensure a bright future for countless animals in need.

We can’t thank you enough for your generosity. It’s heartwarming to see how many people believe in the mission of Dogs Trust and are eager to help make a difference. 

With your support, we’re more motivated than ever to reach our new target and do even more for these amazing dogs.

Kicking Off 2025 with a Paw-some Challenge!

Happy New Year, everyone! We’re so excited to kick off 2025 with something truly special.

This February, Pawesome Memories are teaming up with Dogs Trust for the 99k for Canines challenge, and we’d love for you to join us on this journey!

As Founder of Pawesome Memories, I'm taking on the challenge to walk, run, or cycle a total of 99km to raise funds and awareness for Dogs Trust – a charity that is near and dear to our hearts. 

Dogs Trust’s mission is to ensure every dog has a safe, happy life, free from the risk of abandonment or mistreatment. From rehoming dogs to providing expert care, their work is absolutely invaluable, and we’re so excited to support their incredible efforts.

I will be representing Pawesome Memories in this challenge. As a passionate advocate for animal welfare, I'm is beyond thrilled to be taking part, knowing that every step (or pedal) she takes will make a real difference in the lives of dogs in need.

Pawesome Memories is inviting all of you to follow along, get involved, and show your support as we work towards completing our 99km. Whether it’s through a donation, cheering us on, or simply spreading the word, every little bit helps!
