I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

My Updates

Slower pace

Today I broke up a few walks as I’m not feeling too well!

A little walk to the shop, a walk to visit family and a walk with Luna all added up!

Hopefully back to the full thing tomorrow 🤞

Morning walk & treadmill

While Luna recovers we are only doing short walks!

Today she managed 15 mins, and I completed the rest at home on the treadmill!

Excited for Luna to be able to do the full time with me, I’ll have to spoil her with park visits!

Luna joins the walk!

Today was a split walk!

As Luna is still recovering from her operation, we done 10mins together and the rest I tackled on my own!

(Good thing I needed to go to the shops anyway - two birds!)
