Bark & Beyond North East are taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February! 🧡🐶
We will be tracking our walks during February to raise funds for Dogs Trust!
We’re making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! We will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

We wrapped up the last walk of the week with the dynamic duo, Bob and Poppy 🐾, ticking off another 5k! That brings us to an amazing 52k walked and… drumroll, please 🥁 fundraising target smashed thanks to my incredible sponsors!
Now it’s time to kick back and enjoy a well-earned weekend off! ☕🐕

Day 2 of the #99KChallenge and the weather was NOT on our side today!

But that didn’t stop Benji and Hattie and we’ve smashed another 7k! 🏅
Today was a day for lots of sniffs, wet paws, windswept ears. 🐾

🐾 Day 1 of the February #99KChallenge for @DogsTrust is off to a flying start! 🚀
Kicking off the day was Benji, setting the pace like a pro, followed by our newest Bark & Beyond crew members Bob and Poppy, who were absolute stars 🌟. And then came Ozzy, our resident speed demon, zooming through his walk!
We smashed an impressive 15k today—what a start! 💥 Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
