I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!
I’m joining the 99k for Canines for the second time - I figured if I didn't have the time and extra hands for dog ownership, this would be a different way of giving back.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
