I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

Hello, Family & Friends! I’ve decided to beat the London blues this year by making a positive start to 2025 and joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canine's challenge! 

Unfortunately, my lovely dogs are at home, and thus, there is no one for me to take on walks in the park! However, I will be walking nonetheless, and hopefully, I will see lots of dogs on my wanders! 

I am walking particularly in honour of Ms Calypso, our newest family member & a rescue doggie herself, and of course, Mr Buster; I hope I can help to make some other doggies' lives a lot warmer and snugglier by fundraising for DogsTrust!

I will be walking 240km throughout the month of February to raise money for all of the dogs which 'DogsTrust' has in their care (I've explained why 240k in a blog post below!)

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. 

In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme, as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). 

With your help, Dogs Trust hopes to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases due to the current cost-of-living crisis.
