Laps with Max - my lovely boy Max is dying of cancer , we would like to take part whilst he still can using his buggy.
I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of January and Febuary to raise money for all the dogs in their care.
We would like this to be a legacy to Max to help other dogs in need.
Max has been incrediably lucky to have had one owner since he was 13 weeks old a lifetime of love and is going to leave a french bulldog sized hole in our lives for sure. Hes been doing well since his diagnosis but tumours are growing and we dont know how long we have left , so were starting this challange in January and would like as many dogs and owners to join with us to help raise funds for other dogs to have loving homes like our Max.
Please join us in Gloucester park on Saturday mornings for Max's farewell laps or help by donating as much to the Dogs trust as you can.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
