I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!
I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

So Blaze’s 99K for The Dogs Trust is done 🐾🐾 🐾🐾🐾🐾 we have finished today on 99.5K. We have had a fabulous time, seen some lovely countryside, met lots of feathered friends and we have raised £216.00 to date. Thank you so very much to all Blaze’s fabulous supporters 💜 - special friends, family and clients and staff from the Charter Biddulph Branch - your donations will be greatly appreciated by the Dogs Trust 💛.

Blaze’s 99k for The Dogs Trust is nearly done 🐶🐾💜- 1 more day tomorrow and 1 more walk to complete our mission. 9.5k done this afternoon taking in the sunshine, a bit of squirrel watching and some fabulous reflections in the canal.

Just a little walk this afternoon for Blaze’s 99k for The Dogs Trust as Bosley joined us - and Jonny too 💜🐶🐾🐾. 18k left to go ……. 3 days to go …….. 🫣 come on Crazy Blaze we can do this - early starts, lunchtime strolls and evening marches around work (it so does get in the way sometimes 🤣)

Gorgeous walk around Rudyard Lake this afternoon with some of the lovely ladies from work who are walking for the British Heart Foundation in memory of our very sadly missed friend Nina 💜. Blaze had a friend to walk with today - Hugo - who certainly knows how to pose for a photograph 💜🐶 not like my scruffy mutt 🤣. 9.67k covered today - that takes us up to 77k in total - 22k to go 😊

Blaze is a tired little girl this afternoon - she has added 10k today onto her total for the 99k for The Dogs Trust 💜🐶. We had a lovely walk up towards Biddulph on the old railway tracks. Fabulous to see lots of people out and about walking, cycling, running and horse riding. That’s 55.5k reached now with all our other walks this week 😊

Muddy Sunday Canal stroll for Blaze’s 99k for The Dogs Trust - 7.86k to add to our total. Todays friends were the ever present ducks 🦆, a field a geese 🪿, a naughty squirrel 🐿️ on some bird feeders and a cheeky robin. One tired doggy 🐶💤 snoozing on the sofa 😊

4.41k on this afternoon muddy tromp across the fields for Blaze’s 99k for The Dogs Trust. We met yet more different feathered friends 🐓 today and some wooly ones 🐑 too. Just under 14k done so far 😊.
