I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

I’m making a positive start to 2025 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2025 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

My Updates

Chips looking good!

First week done!

First week done and 31km walked, so celebrated today and took Chip on a training session with my daughter and my bike for a 10km jog!!
That will come on next weeks tally obviously!

So, we are walking hard for Dogs Trust, peeps dig into yr purses or pockets and help these little dogs out. Even a pound helps. Thank you all 🐾

Also thanks to Murron Calderhead for the km tracker she allowed me to use, huge help! X

Getting walking ready!

So only a couple of days to go and Chip is limping. Hoping he just needs a little rest as can't see any sign of cuts or wounds. Getting Chip to rest is not an easy task though so wish me luck!
