I’m taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon with Dogs Trust!

This year I am running the Cardiff 1/2 marathon on Sunday October 5th.
Dogs are amazing animals that don’t ask for much but give so much.
I have a dog from DogsTrust, Bracken the border collie. She’s been with
me for over 13 years and runs with me on Saturday mornings at parkrun,
where she has racked up over 200 runs.
I also sponsor two other long term care dogs at DogsTrust.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
