99k for Canines

I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2022, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

Starting These Steps

Tuesday 9th Jan
This is a step challenge I am glad to be taking part in as both of my dogs were from Dogs Trust.

I am doing this in memory of Roxy who passed a few years ago now but she's always in our minds. But also getting our current dog Reggie involved when I can as they had a few good years together.

This challenge will be full of round the block walks, at home or at work, and when possible fun walks around parks and local areas.

Please sponsor me so we can all make a difference to a dog in need.
