Dogs Trust Fundraiser

Sky Diving for Dogs Trust

I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by fundraising on behalf of Dogs Trust.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Last year, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914 dogs, and helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks.

Your support helps them continue this vital work, especially as the cost of living crisis adds increased pressures for dog owners.

The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with donations like yours. If you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be incredibly grateful – and so would the dogs!

Thank you.

Turning 30 at 15,000 feet: Why I’m skydiving for Dogs Trust

I’m celebrating my 30th birthday in a slightly unusual way: jumping out of a plane.

This skydive was a surprise gift from my dad and his way of helping me mark a big birthday with a once in a lifetime experience. My dad would have loved to join me, but his health means he can’t take part. So I asked him which charity means the most to him. He didn’t hesitate: Dogs Trust.

If you know my dad at all, you know how much he lights up around dogs. Supporting Dogs Trust is a way for me to carry a piece of him with me on this adventure a shared love, even if he can’t be up there beside me.

What your donation will help fund

  • Safe shelter, food, and vet care for dogs in need
  • Behavioural support so nervous or traumatised dogs can learn to trust again
  • Essential kit like leads, beds, enrichment toys, and training sessions
  • Community and education programmes that keep dogs with the families who love them

My goal I’m aiming to raise as much as possible to celebrate turning 30 with purpose. Every pound goes to Dogs Trust and every donation big or small gets me one step closer to helping more wagging tails find happy homes.
