I’m running the London Marathon with Dogs Trust!

I’m running the 2026 London Marathon for Dogs Trust! The Dogs Trust hold a very special place in my heart, not only with my connection as UK Charity Key Account Manager and working closely with them to see all the amazing work they do, but most importantly because of the last 12 1/2 years of joy we have had with Drygi! 

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs across the 22 rehoming shelters across the UK and Ireland.  With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.  

The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with sup-pawt like yours. If you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be extremely grateful – and so would the dogs!

The Underdog Is Back!

🐶🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️The underdog is back🏃🏻‍♀️🐶
🐶 The last few months of training have been brutal. Since June last year I’ve been plagued with injury. Four months ago I couldn’t even run for two minutes without pain.
🐶 Three weeks ago I nearly deferred my London Marathon place as the niggles crept back again.
🐶 Today I ran the Great Welsh Pembrey Half as part of my training. The plan was simple: jog round, take it easy, just get the miles in.
But it felt good. I felt good.
The plan was never to chase a time… yet somehow I ran sub-2 hours
Am I back to my best pace? Not even close. But after months on the cross trainer and bike wishing I could run again, this feels like my biggest win yet.
I’m still behind where I should be for London — but I’m moving forward again.
And that’s the thing about underdogs… we don’t stay down for long.🐶🐾

Ras Y Castell 14km

A VERY hot 29 degrees race Friday evening with some challenging hills in the hot sun! This run felt like a challenge from start to finish, not a day for PBs due to the heat....but i did win my category which was an achievement with how challenging i found the route. 

Swansea Half Marathon

Yesterday i completed my first half marathon in over 15 years! It was certainly alot harder than i remember and my legs definitely felt it! I was pleased with my time of 1:48, i was aiming for anything sub 2 hours, i only started properly running 7 months ago and i am pleased with the progress i have made, lots more to do to work on my fitness and leg strength but a positive start in my training programme 

Volunteering Day Dogs Trust Bridgend

I recently organised a volunteering day at Dogs Trust Bridgend for my team within Zoetis. We spent the day meeting some of the lovely dogs, learning about the amazing work the charity does and getting involved with some project work for their social media!
