99k for Canines

I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2022, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

Freya and Bramble

Wednesday 14th Feb
Freya (my 8 year old daughter) and Bramble (our 4 year old doodle) have decided to take on the 99k for Canines challenge to help raise money for the Dogs Trust.
We got Bramble when Freya was 4 years old and they have been best friends ever since. Freya has also been a supporter of the Dogs Trust for some time and sponsors a doodle named Rosie.
Freya and Bramble have been having a great time and going for lots of lovely walks together - they would both really appreciate it if you make a donation and help them support the vital work if the Dogs Trust.
