24 Hour Sports Day
Hello and welcome to my page, I work at a Secondary school who are taking part in a 24 hour sport day to raise money. I have agreed to take part in all 24 hours and my efforts will be in order to raise money for Dogs Trust.
The event will take place on Friday the 15th of November and finish on Saturday the 16th. I will be taking part in the students PE lessons between 9am and 3:20pm. From 3:20pm until 5pm I will be joining the 1st & 2nd team's senior rugby training. I will then be playing football with our upper sixth form between 5pm until 9pm. From 9pm until 9am I will be playing badminton with a number of colleagues before finally finishing with a short lap. I will have a couple of short breaks to eat, but I aim to be playing sport for as much time as possible!
I have a 2 year old Border Collie named Remus that I re-homed from Dogs trust in May 2023. Remus was unwell for a period of time. He had to have lots of scans, vets visits and trips to a specialist before being diagnosed with a Portosystemic Liver Shunt. Fortunately, at this time, this can be managed with a strict diet and Remus is doing very well. Dogs trust funded a large chunk of the cost for all this treatment and we would like to give back. Remus will be joining me on the run to finish the 24 hours.
Thank you to any and all donations.
