100 Miles in October Challenge

100 miles. One month. A lot of questionable life choices.

This October, I’ve decided to challenge myself to run 100 miles to raise money for Dogs Trust.

That’s roughly 3.2 miles a day for the entire month, which sounds like a perfectly reasonable idea! (Ask me again somewhere around mile 75...)

But there’s a much better reason behind the running -->

Dogs Trust gives stray and abandoned dogs the care, love and second chance they deserve, helping them find responsible, loving homes. Last year alone, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914, and helped provide nearly one million meals to dogs in need through FareShare foodbanks. With the cost of living putting even more pressure on dog owners, their work is needed now more than ever.

So, while I’ll be out there clocking up the miles, sweating, questioning my choices and pretending every hill is ā€œcharacter buildingā€, I’d love to turn those miles into something that actually makes a difference.

If you can spare a few quid, every donation will help Dogs Trust continue giving dogs the care and second chance they deserve.

Even if you can’t donate, a share would mean a lot.

100 miles. For the dogs. Let’s do this 🐶

Thank you & paw-five🐾
