Paws and Running Shoes: A PT’s Journey to the Manchester 10k
Hello, fellow animal lovers and fitness enthusiasts!
Well, I've decided to channel that love for four-legged friends into something pawsitive! This year, I’m lacing up my running shoes and hitting the streets for the Manchester 10k, surrounded by my incredible clients, friends, and colleagues. We’re on a mission to raise funds for Dogs Trust because, let’s face it, I love animals more than humans. (Don't worry, you're all a close second!)
Why Dogs Trust?
If I had my way, I’d have a million dogs, a few horses, and maybe a small zoo in my backyard. But until my lottery numbers come up, supporting Dogs Trust is the next best thing. They do amazing work rehoming dogs, providing veterinary care, and ensuring every pup gets the love they deserve. Basically, they’re the superhero cape to my running shoes.
The Challenge
Running 10k might sound like a walk in the park for a PT, but trust me, it’s serious business—especially when I’m tempted to stop for every wagging tail along the route. My clients are ready to sprint, my friends are gearing up for a jog, and my colleagues... well, they’re promising not to get lost. It’s going to be a day of sweat, laughter, and probably a few dog-related detours.
How You Can Help
We all know times have been ruff (yes, I went there), but if you can spare anything—even the cost of a fancy coffee—it would make a world of difference. Every penny goes to Dogs Trust, helping them continue their incredible work. Plus, donating might just make you my favorite human. No pressure!
Join the Adventure
Whether you’re a runner, a dog lover, or just someone who enjoys a good laugh at my expense, I’d love your support. Cheer us on, spread the word, and let’s make this 10k an unforgettable journey for a fantastic cause.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping me support the animals that bring so much joy into our lives. Together, we can make a difference—one step (and wag) at a time.
Here’s to running, rescuing, and maybe adopting a dog or two along the way!
With love and a wagging tail,
