Sunny and I are taking on the 99k for Canines challenge with Dogs Trust 🐶
Sunny was the last puppy left in his litter after his original owners no longer wanted him. We brought him home at just 8 weeks old, and over a year later he’s become my best friend and soul dog.
Now 16 months old, Sunny is a mischievous, cuddly, handsome cockapoo who lives for zoomies, stealing socks, big cuddles, and making me laugh every day. We love our walks together, especially trips to the beach, where I enjoy a coffee while Sunny digs in the sand and dives in the rock pools.
This February, I’ll be walking and running 99km to raise vital funds for Dogs Trust, who give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a happy life. Last year alone, they cared for over 11,700 dogs, rehomed nearly 10,000, and helped provide almost one million meals to dogs in need.
With the cost of living crisis putting extra pressure on dog owners, this work is more important than ever. Every dog deserves a loving family and it breaks my heart knowing so many are still waiting.
