Megan’s Dog Trust Fundraising Walk
On Thursday 14th January 2026 I will be walking from the OVO Hydro to Balloch which is just under 6 and a half hours walk. Dogs trust is a charity that has always been close to my heart as I have a strong love for animals and I would love to raise money for the animals at Christmas time who need it most and raise awareness for this wonderful charity ❤️
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Last year, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914 dogs, and helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks.
Your support helps them continue this vital work, especially as the cost of living crisis adds increased pressures for dog owners.

CHARITY WALK NEW DATE
CHARITY WALK UPDATE🐾
Hi everyone - as most of you know our charity walk was to take place this Friday 28th November from the Hydro to Balloch however we have decided to postpone the charity walk to Thursday 15th January 2026.
When I planned this I didn’t know I would have been lucky enough too start my dog grooming course so soon and I haven’t even had a day off to train for this 19 mile walk in the last month since starting grooming & balancing my shift job - plus my final dog grooming assessment is on Saturday and I really need to make sure I’m physically and mentally prepared 🧼
This gives us even more of a chance to raise more money - can’t believe our goal was £500 and we are almost at £900!! Every penny donated goes straight into dogs trust fundraising account and the link can be found on my profile.
Pushing the walk back has also allowed me to arrange a day with dogs trust themselves to catch some content and show you the wonderful services they provide with kind donations like yours so keep your eyes peeled👀
