I’m taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon with Dogs Trust!

I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by joining the Royal Parks Half Marathon with Dogs Trust. On December 10th, 2024, I lost my best friend, Spud. For eight wonderful years, he brought joy and love into my life after I rescued him from Basildon Dogs Trust. The grief of losing him is still very raw, but I want to honour his memory by helping other dogs in need.

Every day, we see countless stories of rescue dogs who need support and a stable home. These dogs, like Spud once was, deserve a chance at a forever loving home and a fresh start in life. By donating, you can help provide the care and support these dogs need to find their own happy endings.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.
