I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines challenge with Dogs Trust!

I’m making a positive start to 2026 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise vital funds for the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners.

Last year, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914 dogs, and helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks.

Your support helps them continue this vital work, especially as the cost of living crisis adds increased pressures for dog owners. The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with donations like yours. If you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be incredibly grateful – and so would the dogs!

We did it!

We hit our £200 goal!
I am so over the moon that we've managed to hit the target in the first 9 days of February! I cannot tell you how much this money will help DogsTrust to rescue and care for dogs in need. On behalf of them - thank you so, so much.

If you're reading this and haven't donated, and you'd like to, please don't be discouraged because the goal has been reached. Every single penny we raise will go directly to DogsTrust, and to both waggly puppies and old, grey doggos alike. Some days are lazier than others...

Hi everyone!
Today we managed another 5km over two walks, and I was joined by my husband Joe, and dogs Louis, Winston, Olive, Bella, Archie and Bella. That's a lot of waggy tails!
We didn't manage much over the weekend, however I'm not worried as it is the 9th February today and we are officially at 32km walked. That's a third of the way through the month, and a third of the way through our distance goal! So we're right on track.
Thanks once again for all your donations and to those who have joined me for walks! Two walkers are better than one, after all 😉

A successful day!

Hello everyone!
I cannot believe how close we are to our target! It's only 5th Feb and we're just £15 away from reaching out £200 goal! I am absolutely thrilled, this money will go towards rescuing and caring for dogs all over the UK. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️

We managed another 7km today! That takes our total to 20km altogether walked in the first 5 days of February. I wanted to give a special mention to dogs Louis, Winston, Nanook, Rory, Otto, Bubba, Bella and Archie, and to humans Crissi and Ayla for joining me on these walks and making them even more special. I'm very grateful for all your help 🐾🐕‍🦺

We'll keep walking and post another update in a couple of days. Thank you to each and every donor once more - we couldn't do this without you guys.

And we're off!

Hello everyone! We've officially started our sponsored walk!

First of all I'd like to thank you for your kind donations. It means everything to me to have your support, and thanks to you we're nearly halfway to our goal! The dogs cannot thank you themselves, but I can - so THANK YOU ❤️💕🐾

So far we're at 6.5km, so about 6.5% of the way to the total distance we need to walk!

Yesterday I was joined for a 1.5km walk by Louis the French Bulldog, and Winston the Pug cross. Thanks for coming along boys! 🥰

Today a lovely Husky called Nanook accompanied me for a long walk. We did 5km together! Thanks for joining me Nanook! 🥰 

I'll keep posting updates here every few days so you can track my progress with me if you'd like to. It's an honour to be able to do this for dogs who don't have a voice of their own. From the bottom of my heart - thank you so, so much.
