100 Miles in October Challenge

I’m running 100 Miles in October with Dogs Trust!

This October, I'm challenging myself to walk 100 miles for Dogs Trust. Every mile I complete will help raise vital funds for dogs in need, giving them the care, support, and second chance they deserve.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners.

Last year, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914 dogs, and helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks.

Your support helps them continue this vital work, especially as the cost of living crisis adds increased pressures for dog owners. The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with donations like yours. If you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be incredibly grateful – and so would the dogs!

Thank you for helping me reach my goal 🐾

Leo

My very own Dogs Trust Dog 🤍

Introducing Leo

Hi Everyone!

The reason I am walking 100 miles for dog trust is because of my boy Leo.

I adopted Leo my now 10 month old Labrador 3 months ago, he was exactly 7 months old, from Dogs Trust.

I lost my best friend Izaak the GSD in January and my life was in pieces and I needed another best friend, not to replace Izaak but to give my love into another dog, I didn’t just save Leo he saved me!

I reached out to Dogs Trust Leeds and began the adoption process. When I visited the centre it really opened my eyes to how truly amazing they are!

The way to dogs are looked after and the thought and process we all go through to ensure we are the best match for each other is always for the dogs and owners best interest.

I want to raise money for Dogs trust as they do such an amazing job and I wouldn’t have my Leo who is my world!

Please help me give back to the amazing individuals who treat every dog in their care as their own they truly are angels!

So yes we are Walking the 100 miles but me and Leo will be doing it together as part of the dogs trust family!

Thank you for taking the time to read any donation is much appreciated and I’ll keep you up to date on our progress!

Thank you!

Katie and Leo xx
