Need Golf Balls ? I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by fundraising on behalf of Dogs Trust.
Our fundraising venture is all because of Alfie !
Our story is we rescued this little 5 year old dog with a lot of excess baggage. He was a skinny, anxious but beautiful dog.
As a pup he had been attacked by a bigger dog and was terrified of other dogs. Initially our way of helping him was to we take him on his walks on a golf course when it was quiet so he could be himself and relax.
Like all Cocker Spaniels we discovered that he has a magnificent sense of smell and adventure.
He would find balls - not by sight but by smell.
He found them in heather, he found them in large shrubs, he found them 3 foot high grass.
Alfie absolutely loves finding balls

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Last year, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914 dogs, and helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks.
