PACK ON THE RUN

Dogs Trust Fundraiser

Pack on the Run — Helping Dogs in Need with Dogs Trust

Pack on the Run: Mountains to Sea is a 10-day journey across Wales led by three dogs — Izzy, Rebel and Jaxx.

Starting in June 2026, the pack will cover around 100 miles from the Brecon Beacons to the coast at New Quay, travelling through mountains, countryside and coastline.

What started as a simple idea to spend time outdoors with our dogs has grown into a fundraising challenge.

75% of all funds raised will go directly to charity, with Dogs Trust being one of the organisations supported.

The remaining funds will be reinvested into future Pack on the Run challenges, helping to turn this into an ongoing annual fundraiser.

This isn’t about the dogs finding homes — they already have theirs.

It’s about using their journey to help less fortunate dogs find theirs. helping raise money for dogs in need by fundraising on behalf of Dogs Trust.

Pack on the Run: Three Dogs, One Journey, and a Chance to Give Back

What started as a simple idea — just getting away and spending some proper time outdoors with our dogs — quickly turned into something more.
With three of them, it’s not always easy to plan a trip where everyone can come along. So instead of trying to fit around that, we built something around them.
In June 2026, Izzy, Rebel and Jaxx will be setting off on a 10-day journey across Wales, travelling from the Brecon Beacons through countryside and coastline, covering around 100 miles along the way.
This isn’t an organised event, and it’s not a race. The pace, distance, and daily plans will always be led by the dogs. Their wellbeing comes first — with regular rest, water, and checks throughout each day.
We’ll be adapting to whatever conditions we face. Weather, terrain, and surroundings will all be taken into account, and routes may change if needed to keep things safe.
From mountain paths to woodland trails and coastal routes, we’ll be moving responsibly — keeping the dogs under control, respecting livestock and the environment, and following a simple rule throughout: don’t take unnecessary risks.
Along the way, we’ll also be raising money to support dogs that haven’t been as lucky.
All three of ours have found their home — this is about helping others find theirs.
We’ll be sharing the journey as we go, from preparation through to the final stretch.
Because at the end of it all, this isn’t really our challenge…
it’s theirs.
