Raising money in memory of Zoë for Ballymena Dog Trust 🩷
I'll be running the London Marathon again on April 27, 2025. I was lucky enough to be offered a spot, which I took. This time the run will be close to home ❤️
I've chosen to dedicate this year's run to Zoë, a dear friend who we recently lost. Friends and family of Zoë will understand why I picked this charity. I've chosen to raise money for The Dog Trust in Ballymena. Zoë took Riley home with her from the Ballymena Dog Trust when he was only 4.5 years old; he's now 11 years old! Riley was Zoë's "child"—her own words for her baby boy. They truly had a special bond. Riley even learnt sign language from Zoë and can understand it very well. Riley is with a family member being so loved and spoilt! Trevor and I recently went to the dog trust before Christmas . Zoë would have been amazed at the changes they made with the new building. We were lucky to be shown around and see how they take care of the dogs that need homes. These people would not be able to do what they do without the money. We asked what are they usually low on etc so little things: they need more blankets, lick mats, beds, and toys! Each week, so many dogs are rehomed! In honour of Zoë, all the money earned will be given to the Ballymena Dog Trust. A lot of you donated to the last race, and we're still getting back on our feet after the Christmas break, there’s no pressure you don’t have to donated I fully understand and appreciate anything.
