I’m running in the 2026 Edinburgh Marathon in support of Dogs Trust!
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Last year, they cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland, rehomed 9,914 dogs, and helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks.
Your support helps them continue this vital work, especially as the cost of living crisis adds increased pressures for dog owners.

Edinburgh marathon 2026
So I’ve taken the decision to do the Edinburgh marathon next year and have a terrible habit of giving up on things so as more of an incentive to follow through and really push on with this I made the decision to do it for charity. I had a think about which charity I would like to benefit from this and being a dog lover and owner myself I thought why not Dogs Trust. The UK is well known for being a country of dog lovers and the work that Dogs Trust does is invaluable and they need funding constantly to maintain the upkeep of the dogs that they look after. I am hoping to raise a minimum of £500. I appreciate times are difficult at the moment with the cost of living continuously rising but anything no matter how big or small would be absolutely brilliant. Thank youThank you to my Sponsors
