I’m Running for Maisy Mouse – and Every Dog Who Needs a Second Chance
In 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a cause that means the world to me – Dogs Trust.
We had the joy of meeting our biggest girl, Maisy Mouse, through Dogs Trust. We honestly can’t thank them enough for the work they do – without them, we wouldn’t have Maisy in our lives. She came to us with challenges and quirks, but with time, patience, and love, she blossomed into the heart of our home.
Maisy’s journey didn’t stop there. We never imagined she’d be able to share her world with other dogs – but now, she has two little sisters: Misty and Maggie. What once felt impossible became a reality, and that transformation is thanks to the support, guidance, and ongoing dedication of Dogs Trust.
That’s why I’m running this race. Not just for mine – but for all the dogs who still need a second chance. Dogs Trust rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes thousands of dogs every year, including those who’ve been overlooked for months. Their work changes lives, and I want to do my part to help them keep going.
