I’m taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon with Dogs Trust!
I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by joining the 2025 Cardiff Half Marathon with Dogs Trust.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. My family and I have been fortunate to be in a position to rescue / re-home dogs with and without dogs trust's support - Lola (dogs trust), Maisie (re-homed with us after an unfortunate start with a puppy-farm).
In 2023, Dogs Trust were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months).
Whilst I'm yet to run further than 8km in any capacity, running the Cardiff Half seemed a great time to raise money for a great cause whilst also pushing myself physically - any donations are greatly appreciated!
