🐾 Freddy’s 99K for Canines Challenge – Walking for Dogs Like Me 🐾

Hello, my name is Freddy. I’m a 3-year-old German Shepherd and I’m proud to say I’m a Dogs Trust rescue dog.💛

A little while ago, Dogs Trust helped me when I needed it most. They looked after me, kept me safe, and then one day I was given a second chance and that’s where I met my forever family, who brought me home and gave me the life I’d always dreamed of. 🏡🦴

Dogs trust gave me a happy ending and I’d like to give something back. 

This February, I’ll be taking part in the 99K for Canines challenge, where I’ll be walking 99 kilometres throughout February to raise money for Dogs Trust and to help other doggies just like me 🐕🐾

I’m one of the lucky ones. I’ve been adopted and now spend my days safe, loved, and spoiled rotten. Sadly, not all of my friends have been as fortunate. Many dogs are still waiting for their forever homes, and I’m hoping that by completing this challenge, I can help support them while they wait.💙

Last year alone, Dogs Trust:

• Cared for 11,707 dogs across the UK and Ireland
• Successfully rehomed 9,914 dogs
• Helped deliver nearly one million meals to dogs in need through Fareshare foodbanks

Every step I take in February is for the dogs still waiting, the dogs needing care, and the dogs who deserve the same happy ending I was lucky enough to get 🐾💛
