🐾 Running in Memory of Merlin – London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 🐾
Anyone who knew me knows how much my dog Merlin meant to me. Although Merlin wasn’t a rescue dog, he brought so much love, happiness and companionship into my life, and losing him left a space that can never truly be filled.
In his memory, I’ve decided to take on the 2027 London Landmarks Half Marathon and raise money for a charity that helps give dogs the chance to experience the same love and care that Merlin was fortunate enough to have throughout his life.
Dogs Trust does incredible work rescuing, caring for and rehoming thousands of dogs every year, giving them a second chance at a happy future. They also provide support to dog owners facing difficult circumstances, helping keep dogs safe, healthy and loved when they need it most.
As a proud monthly supporter of Dogs Trust already, I’ve seen the difference their work makes, and I wanted to do something extra to help. Running 13.1 miles through London will be a huge challenge for me, but every training run, every mile and every step will be for Merlin and for the many dogs still waiting for their forever homes.
