I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2022, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

Why I am walking

Saturday 17th Feb
This year I have decided to take on the challenge of walking 99km for dogs trust. I have 2 dogs Tyson and rogue, rogue is an Xl bully and due to the ban has to wear a muzzle and be leashed in public. Dogs trust have provided great information to support us through the difficulty of accepting a new muzzled future for rogue. I am very grateful of all the information and support dogs trust have offered and provided Xl bully’s and their owners in the last few months. Dogs trust do amazing work so this February I am walking to help stay able to offer support and guidance to those who need it.
