I’m taking part in the 99k for Canines with Dogs Trust this February!
I’m making a positive start to 2024 by joining the Dogs Trust 99k for Canines challenge! I will be walking 99km throughout the month of February to raise money for all the dogs in their care.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2022, they were able to successfully rehome over 9,000 dogs and cared for a total of 11,464 dogs (including those through their Ukraine quarantine scheme as well as police dogs working at the Commonwealth Games!). With your help Dogs Trust hope to continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

Friday 23rd Feb This evening I decided to walk from home to the end of Marlow Bottom and back. I know it’s a long road but it is the longest walk yet for this challenge at 5.69km! Share
Even Muddier!
Wednesday 21st Feb So today I put my two usual walks together to catch up after missing Monday. I thought it would be 6km as one of the usual ones is 3.1 and the other is 3.3… The walk turned out to be 5.3km - not sure how 🤔 Share

Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud!
Friday 9th Feb A very muddy, mucky walk this afternoon with the Scrufter. He pretty much turned into a brown and black dog!
