Own Place

London Marathon 2026!

After securing my own place in the 2026 London Marathon I have decided to fundraise in aid of Dogs Trust. A couple of months ago we sadly lost my best mate Charlie Brown. Although he was not a Dogs Trust dog when we got him at 9 months old it was from a rescue home. He turned out to be the kindest, purest and funniest dog anyone could ever ask for providing us with some of the best memories possible. This would never of been possible without the invaluable work charities like Dogs Trust do.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs in 2024 as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with support like yours, if you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be extremely grateful – and so would the dogs!

Thank you.
