I’m taking part in the Great North Run with Dogs Trust! 
This cause is very close to my heart. I have always had a deep love for animals, and I truly believe every dog deserves a second chance at a happy life. A few years ago, I lost my beloved companion Timba, who was with me for over 16 wonderful years. Dogs are not just pets; they are family. They bring immense joy, unconditional love, and comfort into our lives.
By supporting Dogs Trust, we help ensure that every dog lives the best possible life—safe, loved, and cared for in the way they truly deserve. Let’s come together to raise funds and give more dogs the second chance they need to be happy.
I won’t lie, running the GNR for the first time is terrifying! But I am confident it will be one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had, and all for a wonderful cause. I’ve been putting in the miles and building up my endurance in training. I’ve also got a 12km Fell run in the Lake District on 28/06, and I’m signed up for the Durham City 10km in July.
Any donations or support, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and go a long way in supporting Dogs Trust.
And if you just want to pay to watch me suffer, I certainly won’t blame you!
