Angus and Hamish: 99k for Dogs🐾
Hi everyone 👋
I’ve decided to walk 99km in 28 days this February for Dogs Trust, mostly for a great cause, but also because my dogs Angus and Hamish have decided I sit down too much😅!
For those who know them, Angus (10) is a diabetic, grumpy old man who has absolutely earned the right to refuse rain, mud, and anything that might dirty his paws. Wee baby Hamish (4) is gentle and anxious… but will aggressively bully anyone for a walk in any weather ☔️! They’re both miniature schnauzers and will bark at everything and nothing at the exact same time.
Hamish will be joining me for all 99km without complaint. Angus will be cheering us on from the sidelines whenever laziness, diabetes, or rain strikes, which is fair enough at his age, and both boys will of course be rocking their Dogs Trust bandanas to make the whole thing a bit more fashionable🐶.
Dogs Trust do amazing work caring for dogs who need safety, love, and a second chance, and as a lifelong dog person, this is a cause really close to my heart.
There will be photo updates, plenty of barking, questionable weather decisions, and this might help me lose some weight before my holidays too…so really, everyone wins🎉!
