Cardiff Half Marathon 2025

I’m taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon with Dogs Trust!

I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by joining the 2025 Cardiff Half Marathon with Dogs Trust.

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. In 2023, they were able to successfully rehome over 10,000 dogs and cared for a total of 13,375 dogs (including over 300 Underdogs who had been with Dogs Trust for more than 6 months). With your help, Dogs Trust can continue helping more dogs as the need for their services increases with the current cost of living crisis.

The work of Dogs Trust is only possible with support like yours, if you’re able to make a small contribution, I know they’d be extremely grateful – and so would the dogs!

Thank you.

My Updates

Runners watch has been purchased

This is probably where I should share the beauty of being active, along with the dedication and consistency required in preparation. Instead, I'll mention that I experienced my first blister after a 12.5 km run this weekend 😳. Why, oh why? Also, I think my Garmin Forerunner 255 might be broken... It’s spot-on for tracking my heart rate, steps, and even the accuracy of my monthly 😳. I must be giving off the “don’t look at me unless you’ve got chocolate” vibe 😂.

I’ll consider hitting the gym or the road once I’m less mad at the world, but here’s the kicker: I strapped on this high-tech, all-singing, all-dancing running watch... and guess what? I didn’t magically transform into a running superstar like all those people in the fitness reels 😳. I know, total shocker! I even re-read the setup instructions (all 10 pages), but apparently, those goals don’t just achieve themselves—even on days when the duvet is calling my name.
