Stori staff raising money for Dog's Trust - Freedom programme
I’m helping raise money for dogs in need by fundraising on behalf of Dogs Trust with my colleagues at Stori.
We are looking to raise money for Dog's Trust Freedom programme, which helps victims of domestic abuse leave their abuser, and enables their dogs to be fostered until they are able to be safely reunited.
We believe this is a great cause to raise money for, as many of our clients have been/are victims of domestic abuse, and many state they would not leave their dog behind if they were to flee. Many refuges and temporary accommodations do not accept dogs, so this means victims are reluctant to flee.
The Freedom programme means victims can leave unsafe environments, whilst having the reassurance their dog is safe too.
